Another success story from the Rock Challenge.

Further to our recent report on two of ‘our’ Scottish schools coming 2nd and 4th in their finals of the annual Rock Challenge event, we are pleased to be able to show you this press release from ‘The Bucks Herald’ reporting the success of Sir Henry Floyd School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, who won their Southern Regional Final and have been promoted to a ‘Premier School’ in next year’s event.

More news from Rock Challenge

Following hot on the heels of our celebrations of both Fraserburgh and Westhill Academies reaching the Rock Challenge Scottish finals, last Thursday we received the news that another of ‘our’ schools, this time south of the border, had won its heat at Stevenage, and were therefore bound for the Southern regional finals at Portsmouth during June. (More to the point, they beat the school at which I taught Maths for 7 years). The school in question is Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Continue reading
