Spring Scene 2

Seasonal Photos for the 2014 Calendar – Spring

Back in February this year I posted a poll on this blog asking visitors to vote on photos for inclusion in our 2014 PomPrint Calendar. At that time, I was looking to make this a monthly feature but, unfortunately, ‘Real Life’ got in the way of my progress, as it often does.

We have now managed to produce another selection of photographs that we feel are suitable for the spring months and, once again, would value the opinions of the public.

We therefore invite you to vote on your favourite from the selection below to be our scenes for March, April and May. You can only vote for one, so please choose the one that you like best. Please click on images to bring up the photo carousel.

The Photograph that I think should be included in the PomPrint 2014 Calendar is:

AM2PM Competition – Number 12

Yet another fortnight has passed and it is time for another location puzzler. Once again, we at PomPrint Designs extend another big welcome to Waves Radio listeners to our blog, and I hope that you will like our fortnightly Location Puzzler competitions.

All that you have to do to be in with a chance of winning one of our Quadra bags is to identify where in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire I was when I took the photo shown in this posting and fill in your personal details in the form below, along with the name of the town in which you think it was taken.

The competition will close on Saturday 30th March and the winner will be announced on the AM2PM show and on here on Monday 1st April. The winner of the last competition was Jeanette Gerrie, a Waves Radio listener in the Fraserburgh area, and she has been asked to choose her prize. Jeanette, along with only 10 others, correctly identified Sandhaven harbour. This week, we also had 1 incorrect answer, as one of our entrants thought that the photo was taken in Boddam.

I would like to thank everyone who has voted in my poll so far and, once again, ask that if you have not yet made your comment about the difficulty, or otherwise, of these puzzles, please register your vote below:

The competition will close on Saturday 2nd March and the winner will be announced on the AM2PM show and on here on Monday 4th March. The winner of the last competition was Henry Forsyth, a Waves Radio listener in the Mintlaw area, and he has been asked to choose his prize. Henry, along with 14 others, correctly identified the bridge leading to the lighthouse in Boddam. This week, we had only 1 incorrect answer. One entrant thought that this was the bridge over the river Ugie which leads to the golf course. Seasonal Photos for the 2014 Calendar

We have been criticized for only including summer photographs in our calendars, so this year, we have made an early start to our Aberdeenshire photographic tours, and have managed to get a few good shots of snow scenes.

I figured that it might be a bit of fun to involve our customers this year, in the production of our calendar. We therefore invite you to vote on your favourite from the selection below to be our scene for January 2014. You can only vote for one, so please choose the one that you like best. Thought that it was time to drop a small reminder to everyone that the second AM2PM competition closes at midnight on Saturday. It is easy to enter, all you have to do is identify a location in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire, post your answer as a comment and leave your email address. You will not be bombarded with any form of advertising from us, even by email, as this is only a precaution that we have to use to avoid spammers of our own.

So far we have only received 3 correct entries, so your chances of winning a prize are still very good. The first correct entry picked out of the hat on Sunday will win a choice of our Quadra bags which can be seen by clicking here. The winner will be announced here, and on Brian’s AM2PM show on Monday.

Good luck!

Just a reminder to you all that the AM2PM competition to win a choice of one of our Quadra bags closes at midnight on Saturday. All that you have to do is identify an Aberdeenshire town our village from a photograph, and you could be in the draw. I only have 2 (yes – only two) correct answers so far, so you have a good chance of winning if you have the correct answer and enter today!
