As we are in the season for bathing, either in the sea or in our local swimming pool, or in our own baths or showers after a warm summer’s day, we have a prize that is suitable for the occasion. In order to be in with a chance of winning one of our towel bales (RRP £35), all that you have to do is identify where in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire I was when I took the photo shown in this posting and fill in your personal details in the form below, along with the name of the town in which you think it was taken.

The competition will close on Saturday 25th May and the winner will be announced on the AM2PM show and on here on Monday 27th May. The winner of the last competition was Heather Westmacott, a Waves Radio listener in the Maud area, and she has been asked to choose her bale of towels. Heather, along with 11 others, correctly identified the coastal hamlet of Whinnyfold. This week, we also had two incorrect answers.

I have decided to make this fortnight’s competition a little easier than the last, so I am expecting a few more correct answers this time around. With the arrival of the new season, we have decided that we should give a spring clean to our prize cupboard, and introduce something more appropriate to the glorious Scottish summer, and what could be more appropriate than towels?

For the spring and summer months, we are changing the fortnightly prize for our ‘Location Puzzler’ competition from the highly successful range of Quadra bags, to beautiful, soft bales of towels, to use on the beach, or to dry yourself off after taking a shower to cool down, after a day in the blistering summer heat here in Northeast Scotland. You could even use them to dry yourself in the unlikely even that you get stuck in a shower.
