Rack and Reload – The New Design for AKC

Aberdeen Kettlebell Club have launched a new club team Polo Shirt in conjunction with ourselves. Early indications are that members are delighted with their new design, which was a collaboration between blog member Ray Wilson @ray-wilson and myself over the last week or so.

Take a look at the images below, kindly supplied by Ray, and let us know what you think. (Click on any thumbnail to open carousel).

The new Rack and Reload design was based on Ray’s idea of using a line drawing of a person lifting 2 kettlebells and was brought into life by myself using the FOSS program Inkscape. The new AKC logo was vectorised by myself under Ray’s expert and extended guidance! Wink

Please note that you can download Inkscape for yourselves by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

A couple of weeks ago, we supplied T-Shirts, Banners and Posters to a Sports Club called ‘Kettlebells Aberdeen’, for “Scotland’s First Kettlebell Sport Competition” held at the Kelvin Hall Sports Arena in Glasgow. It is my intention to do a feature on this club once we get photos of the goods sent to us, but, if like me, you know nothing about ‘Kettlebells’ let alone the meaning of a ‘Long Cycle Competition’, I recommend that you click on the link below to Ray’s blog, where is all made clear.

Golf Ball Colours

GOLF BALL COLOUR? NOT ALWAYS WHITE!

We’re often asked to supply printed golf balls in ‘jazzy’ colours, so we thought it a reasonable idea to post a quick list of the golf balls available in colours other than White.

Coloured golf balls are not just a fad that you think will go away a few years from now. The truth of the matter is that coloured golf balls are here to stay. You can purchase traditional White, Yellow, Orange and even Pink golf balls for your corporate golf day.  Continue reading
