I was asked last night by one of our blog members if they could buy one of the pieces of Art in our galleries. It suddenly occurred to me that I had not made this at all clear, so this post is designed to help you understand more fully the situation with regard to the work of our featured artists.

Sphere Land by Isabelle Dermousis – hopefully the first of many pieces of art being purchased by members of this blog after seeing our galleries!
All of the people who have their art displayed in our main art gallery are members of deviantArt, and all the work displayed in this blog is ‘borrowed’ from deviantArt with the artists’ permission. All images in a person’s gallery can be found on deviantArt by clicking one of the links to their full dA galleries on the page. From here, you should be able to find the image that you like in their galleries and purchase it in various formats, as various prices from deviantArt, whereby the artist gets a commission (usually 20% of the price). If you have difficulties finding what you are looking for, please use the messaging facilities on this blog to contact me for help, or post a comment.
If a piece that you like is not available as a print, please remember that the artists are all friends of mine with whom I have regular contact, so I may be able to ask them if they can make them available for purchase.
If you would like me to obtain a picture on your behalf, then this can be arranged by contacting me via the Mintlaw Market group on this blog. I will obviously charge you any carriage that I incur on top of the price of the artwork, but this will be ‘at cost’. I am not trying to make money here, merely run a popular and successful company blog.
For those of you who are new to this blog, the entrance hall to our art gallery is here.
