Once again I have to congratulate our two regulars at the location puzzler for getting last week’s answer so quickly. I thought that this one might have proved to be a little more difficult, but that was obviously not the case. This week I have tried to make it more of a challenge!
For those of you who are new here, each Friday I upload a photo of a location somewhere in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire for you to identify. There are no prizes, just the smug feeling that you beat me once again! You really don’t need to know the area to be able to work out the answer, as our friend and regular contributor on Plymouth proves every week! Last week’s location was correctly identified as Oldmeldrum, as the photograph was of the Sailor statue outside the Meldrum Arms.
In order to join in with the fun, please identify the location in which the photo below was taken and comment this post with “This week’s photo was taken in …”, and then the name of the town or village in which the building can be seen. Correct answers will be revealed on Wednesday at (around) noon.
I hope that we get a few more people joining in this week!
So, with no further ado…here is this week’s location shot. Good luck!!

This photo was taken in Banff, Banff links caravan park.
The answer that I was expecting was Inverboyndie, as the caravan park is on Inverboyndie Beach. This shot was taken from a lay-by (where you get a good burger van) between Banff and Inverboyndie, so both answers are equally correct.
